The West Virginia Wesleyan women's golf team will compete in the Glenville State Tournament this week (Sept. 2-3) at Glenville Country Club in Glenville, W.Va.

- The Bobcats were picked to finish second in the Mountain East Conference preseason poll. WVWC received one first-place vote.
- Wesleyan women's golf placed second in the spring 2021 Mountain East Conference Championship. The Bobcats finished three strokes behind Charleston. It was the best finish for the WVWC women's golf program at the MEC Championship since 2017.
- MEC Player of the Year & Freshman of the Year Kiana Toole returns for the Bobcats. Toole was the first women's golfer in WVWC history to win both MEC Player of the year and MEC Freshman of the Year honors. Toole won the MEC Championship individual competition by ten strokes last spring. The Newcaste, Australia native added a second-place finish at the Mister Bee Invitational and a third-place finish at the Greenbrier Invitational to her freshman campaign.
- The Wesleyan women's golf roster features two seniors: Carleigh Bolyard and Emma Bryan. Bolyard, a Parsons, W.Va., native, received second-team all-conference honors in 2019 and was named to the MEC Commissioner's Honor Roll for the spring of 2021. Bryan, from Moon Township, Pa., was named Academic All-MEC last spring.
- Sophomore Geneva Brown was named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll last season.
- Freshman Remmey Lohr, from Carmichaels, Pa., was added to the Wesleyan women's golf roster.
- Cami Roberts begins her second season at the helm of the Bobcat golf program.
