The West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball team (5-12, 1-3 Mountain East Conference) prepares for three MEC road matches. The Bobcats will play at Davis & Elkins on Tuesday (Oct. 4) before going to Frostburg, Md. to take on Frostburg State on Friday (Oct. 7). Wesleyan will wrap up its road trip on Saturday (Oct. 8) versus Fairmont State.

Brilane Manchego has passed a team-leading 576 assists. Clara Caralt leads the Senators defensively with 216 digs. Davis & Elkins is led by Jordan Willis, who is in his second season at the helm of the Senators.

Scouting Frostburg State
Frostburg State is 13-7 on the year and 1-3 in MEC play. After winning its MEC opener, the Bobcats have dropped its last three conference games. Beverly Braun has a team-high 284 kills. Hayley Delor has passed 419 assists. McKaily Thomson-Moran and AJ Thompson each has 59 blocks for the Bobcats. Frostburg State is led by head coach Kylie Heyne.

Scouting Fairmont State
The Falcons are 17-2 on the year and 3-1 in MEC competition. After dropping its MEC opener to Wheeling on Sept. 20, Fairmont State has won three consecutive conference games. Nyla Birch has a team-leading 187 kills, while Keara Lewis has 168 kills. Bryce Knapp leads the Falcons with 326 digs and 31 service aces. Emma Ludwig leads the defensive effort at the net with 82 blocks. Travis Hinkle is in his second season as head coach at Fairmont State.Â
