CROFTON, Md. -- West Virginia Wesleyan golfers Alexis Abalos (8^th) and Remmey Lohr (10^th) each recorded a top-10 finish at the Crofton Invitational at Crofton Country Club on Tuesday (March 22).
 
Abalos penciled a second-round score of 73 to climb 14 spots on the leaderboard to secure eighth place. The San Diego, Calif., native made four birdies in 36 holes.
 
Lohr sank 13 pars and a pair of birdies throughout her two rounds. The freshman shot a 91 in the first round and a 90 in round two.
 
On the men's side, Rigel Wilson fired a 165 overall, while Dan Morgret totaled 166. Davis Haynes tallied 170 strokes in two rounds and Indiana Eades accumulated 179 strokes. Carleigh Bolyard of the women's squad totaled 195 and Emma Bryan penned a 199.
 
The WVWC golf team is scheduled to play in the Mountain East Conference Golf Tournament from March 27-29.
