BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – West Virginia Wesleyan Athletics has announced the addition of
Luis Diaz and
Kyle McClellan as sports information graduate assistants on Wednesday (Aug. 3).

Diaz is no stranger to the WVWC Sports Information Department. He served as an intern for the department during the 2021-22 school year and aided the department's creative efforts. The Los Angeles, Calif., native has logged a four-year career with the WVWC men's soccer team and was named Second Team All-Mountain East Conference his sophomore year in 2019. Diaz will be the primary contact for men's soccer, tennis, swimming, acrobatics & tumbling and lacrosse.

From Greenfield, Ohio, McClellan brings a wealth of broadcasting experience to WVWC athletics. McClellan started as a student worker for the sports information department at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio. While at Shawnee State, McClellan was a member of Shawnee SportsNet and oversaw the live stream production of home games at Shawnee State. Most recently, McClellan was a broadcast analyst and marketing specialist for WNXT Hometown Broadcasting where he broadcasted a variety of high school sporting events. McClellan will serve as the primary contact for WVWC cross country, volleyball, women's basketball and track & field. He and his wife Cece and his daughter Mayzie reside in Buckhannon.
