BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The WVWC Bobcat Dance Team competed in the preliminary round of the NCA/NDA national championship competition yesterday afternoon. The team, which is only a second year competitive program under the direction of coach Lesa Dencklau, was one of only four teams out of seven in Division II team performance to make it through to finals. 

The Bobcats not only advanced to the final round of competition in this category to be held today, but they are entering into finals currently sitting in second place, with a score of 86.425. The dance team takes the floor this afternoon at 12:21 pm EST competing against Davenport University of Grand Rapids, Mich., Tarleton State University of Stephenville, Texas and Assumption University of Worcester, Mass.
