This weekend Sept. 9th and 10th, the WVWC Dance Team hosted staff from the National Dance Alliance on campus for their home camp to qualify for College Nationals.  For the third consecutive year, the Bobcat Dancers received a Bronze Paid Bid to the NCA/NDA Cheer and Dance National Championships held in Daytona Beach, Florida.  They also received a Superior Rating, the highest rating given, for their Team Performance routine which includes jazz, pom and hip hop styles in one dance.  The team is evaluated on technique, style, execution and uniformity of the routine learned in only one day, and also their participation in all camp classes, team spirit, leadership and positive sportsmanship.  The NCA/NDA College Championships are the largest of this kind in the world.  The Bobcat Dancers are currently ranked 2nd in the nation in Division II Team Performance and will begin training now for two routines they will compete at the 2024 Championships.  Congratulations to the WVWC Dance Team!
