Institute, W.Va.- The Bobcat volleyball team finished the regular season at 15-14 and was a four-seed going into the MEC volleyball tournament, Thursday, and played the Cardinals of Wheeling University, a one-seed, in their first quarter finals match.
Notable performers for the Bobcats included sophomore, Emily Dension who led the team with 7 kills and 3 block assists along with 5 digs and 1 serving ace. Libero, Alexis Moescher, who received MEC Honorable Mention, recorded 8 digs and 2 serving aces. Setter
Jalynn West recorded 18 assists followed by
Sarah McCall with 9 assists.
Jayla Cowherd and
Bhrooke Axe recorded 6 kills and West had 3 digs in the match.
The Bobcat volleyball team ended the season with a winning regular season record for the first time since 2011.
