Winter Haven- To end Day 2 in Florida, The Bobcats earned their 3rd win of the season beating Southern New Hampshire in a close 1-0 game. The only run of the game came across in the 2nd inning as
Carlee Iannone singled to left field bringing in
Jenna Gomez. The Bobcats' victory was lead by pitcher
Victoria Wehrberger who posted 7 innings, allowing 2 hits, no earned runs, and 9 strikeouts. She retired the side in order for Southern New Hampshire in the 2nd, 3rd, and 7th inning. An impressive outing by the freshman aided the Bobcat offense as 11 runners were left on base.
The Bobcats are set to play Concordia University, St. Paul and Upper Iowa University Monday, March 4th at 9am. and 11:15am.
