Softball Falls To Wayne State To End The Spring Games

Wayne State (Neb.) rallied with a strong performance late in the game to secure a 6-4 victory over West Virginia Wesleyan in today's softball matchup. The game saw solid pitching, timely hitting, and key defensive plays from both teams, but it was Wayne State who capitalized on the big moments.

Scoring Summary:

Wayne State took a 1-0 lead in the second inning on a sacrifice fly by J. Klein. In the third, M. Scobee's 2-run single made it 3-0.

West Virginia Wesleyan responded in the fifth, tying the game at 4-4 with RBIs from K. Brown, L. Hague, and B. Osburn.
