2027/2028 Graduates 

West Virginia Wesleyan College Softball would like to invite YOU and your family to our 2026 ID Camp!!

 

This event will be held Saturday, October 3th, 2026. $50.00 per player. Make checks payable to WVWC Softball. May send checks in or pay the day of.

 

Schedule of Events:

  • 9:00 am - Check in: Located in the Social Hall (3rd Floor of Benedum Campus Center in-between Rockefeller Center & French A See Dining Hall). See attached map and directions.

    • We will have a check-in station with an information packet

    • Continental Breakfast will be available for you and your family

 

  • 9:15 am - Introductions, Meeting with Questions and Answers

 

  • 10:00 am - Admissions Presentation with John Waltz, VP for Enrollment Management

    • Hyma Auditorium located in Christopher Hall of Science.

 

  • 11:00 am - Tour of Campus from our current players

 

  • 11:45 am - Lunch in our Dining Hall with our current players

 

  • 1:00 pm - Meet at the softball field for stretching and camp will begin. Cover hitting, pitching, defense, and baserunning

    • Culpepper Field

 

  • 4:00 pm – Camp ends

Directions

By car from I-79 Exit 99 (preferred access from Interstate 79)

  • Exit 99 on to US -33 East to Buckhannon (12 miles from I-79 to Buckhannon)

  • Exit US-33 at Main St Exit (exit on right)

  • Make a right off exit and drive ½ mile (entering downtown Buckhannon)

  • Continue straight through the first stoplight.

  • Follow Main Street until the third stop sign and turn right onto S Florida St.

  • Follow S Florida St ½ mile to College Ave

  • Turn left at stop sign onto College Ave

  • Continue straight through the first stop sign and the Office of Admissions is located in the O'Roark Nordstrom Welcome Center on the Left.

Alternate Route from the East

  • Exit 33 East at Route 20. Turn left at exit onto Route 20 North. Follow Route 20 North ½ mile to second stoplight (downtown Buckhannon).

  • Make a left hand turn at the stop light onto Main Street.

  • Follow Main Street through three stop signs.

  • Main Street will become East Main Street.

  • Follow East Main Street to the stop sign and make a right hand turn onto College Avenue.

  • The Office of Admissions is located in the O'Roark Nordstrom Welcome Center on the right.

From Baltimore, MD (4 ½ hours)

Follow I-70 West to I-68 West (Hancock, MD) to I-79 South (Morgantown, WV). Follow I-79 South to Exit #99 (Weston-Buckhannon exit). See Directions from Exit 99.

From Charleston, WV (1 ¾ hours)

Follow I-79 North to Exit 99 (Weston-Buckhannon exit). See Directions from Exit 99.

From Charlotte, NC (5 ¾ hours)
