Buckhannon W. Va.- West Virginia Wesleyan College Football falls to 1-1 in conference play after a 45-7 loss to Frostburg State. The offense was able to produce 260 yards with 173 yards coming through the air. The defense was able to put pressure in the back field totaling one sack and five tackles for a loss.
Liam McGuire was able to find Jeremiah King in the end zone for a touchdown early in the first to tie the game at 7 a piece. King also had a great day on the ground rushing for 57 yards off of 13 carries. Reimello Hyde led the Bobcats in rushing with 65 yards averaging over 5 yards per carry. Amari Colon-Brown was exceptional again this week totaling 103 yards with a long of 42.
Alex Gutierrez had ten total tackles for the Bobcats, with a tackle for loss on the day. Kameron Reynolds was able to disrupt the offense with 7 total tackles with 5 solo tackles. Klejdi Elezaj found his way into running lanes with 6 total tackles on the day.
