Jaylin Kennedy joined the West Virginia Wesleyan Football Staff in the Spring of 2023 as the Defensive Backs Coach and Video Coordinator.
Prior to joining the Bobcats, Jaylin served as Defensive Backs/Wide Receivers Coach and Defensive Pass Game Coordinator at his Alma Mater, Portsmouth High School, in Ohio. During his three seasons at PHS, nine of Jaylin’s position players earned All-Conference honors and the Trojans made two postseason appearances.
Before Portsmouth, Kennedy spent 2 seasons as an Intern at Wilmington College, coaching the Secondary as well as holding the role of Video Coordinator. In his second season with the Quakers, he coached an All-OAC safety who finished the season as the conference's second-leading tackler.
Kennedy began his coaching career as a Student Assistant Coach at Otterbein University while finishing his degree after playing 4 years for the Cardinals.
