Jeremy-Harmer

Jeremy Harmer

Jeremy Harmer is in his first season with the Bobcats as Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line coach. He spent the previous six seasons on Coach Mike Kellar’s staff at Glenville State, where he began as the Wide Receivers coach and Pass Game Coordinator. During his first four seasons in that role, Harmer helped develop multiple All-MEC performers, including Javon Butler, Zay Huff, Javien Bellamy, and Orion Bonner, before transitioning to Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line coach in 2024.

In 2024, under Harmer’s direction, the Pioneers posted their best season since joining the Mountain East Conference in 2013, finishing 7–4 overall and 7–2 in conference play with a second-place MEC finish. The offensive line produced three All-Conference selections, highlighted by Payton Hawkins earning First Team All-MEC honors, while Jaheziah Wade and Justin Collier received Honorable Mention recognition.

The offense continued to rise in 2025, finishing third in the MEC in both total offense and rushing offense, while leading the conference in passing with 3,021 yards and averaging 31.8 points per game. That season also produced multiple All-MEC selections, including running back Jeremiah King and offensive lineman Alex Willis.

A native of Shinnston, West Virginia, Harmer began his collegiate coaching career in 2012 at his alma mater, Fairmont State, as the quarterbacks coach. He later connected with Coach Kellar at Lenoir-Rhyne before following him to Glenville State.
