Jordan Hopgood enters his second season as the running backs and tight ends coach at West Virginia Wesleyan in 2021. Hopgood arrived in Buckhannon in 2020 after serving as tight ends coach at Jackson State University.
Prior to Jackson State, Hopgood served as the running backs coach at Morgan State University while also managing the entire punt unit for both the 2017 and 2018 seasons. During the 2016 season as a first-year coach, Hopgood served as the inside wide receivers and return specialists coach at Howard University.
As a player, Hopgood was a running back for the Bowling Green State University Falcons from 2009-2014, making 3 bowl appearances and winning the Mid-American Conference Championship in 2013.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Hopgood graduated in 2014 from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
