Seth Lewis

  • Title
    Wide Receivers Coach
Seth Lewis joins the Wesleyan staff after spending four seasons as the WR/JV offensive coordinator at Akron East High School. Lewis has helped multiple receivers attain all state/region/district and conference accolades. During his time at East, Lewis helped several young men move on to college with playing opportunities.

After leaving his hometown of Akron, Lewis accepted the wide receivers’ job at Hocking College. In his first and only season on their staff, Lewis helped student-athletes obtain offers to play ball at the 4-year level.

Lewis comes from a family of coaches. His biological mother coached high school girls’ basketball as did his aunt who made many state/regional runs and helped guide many student-athletes toward playing college basketball. Lewis coached two seasons of AAU basketball while in high school himself. He also served as an assistant basketball coach for two years at Akron East.

Lewis’ athletic career is extensive. He played three varsity sports in high school: basketball, baseball (as well as nationally competitive club baseball) and football. After high school, Lewis played two years at Heidelberg University where he was tight end/wide receiver.
