BUCKAHNNON- West Virginia Wesleyan Women's Lacrosse team defeated Waynesburg in a shut out competition on Thursday night, 23-0.
The star of the game was
Kimberly Lubic who reached a milestone in her career, scoring her 100
th goal. Lubic, determined to leave her legacy at Wesleyan, scored in the first minute of the game with 29:24 on clock to still play in the first half.
Natalie Schaffner is the only other player, currently on the team, who has achieved this. She made her 100th goal vs Davis and Elkins in the 2016-2017 season.Â

While Lubic is celebrated for her achievement, the twenty-two other goals scored throughout the game were contributed by
Madison Duvall leading with 4 goals as well as
Natalie Schaffner,
Hannah Antonelli, and Madeline Gorska scoring 3 goals, followed by
Samantha Pappas and
Katie Kennedy scoring 2 goals and
Lauren Bolen,
Sabrina Burtner,
Lovely Ordonez-Lopez,
Savannah Randolph, and
Haley McGuffin all scoring 1 goal.
