BUCKHANNON – West Virginia Wesleyan Women's Lacrosse team outscored Davis & Elkins on Monday night 21-5.
Leading the Bobcats to victory were
Kim Lubic scoring 7 goals,
Natalie Schaffner scoring 5 goals and
Hannah Antonelli scoring 4 goals.
Madison Duvall and
Katie Kennedy both scored 2 goals followed by
Samantha Pappas scoring 1 goal.
The team started off strong leading into halftime 14-4. Goalie
Gabrielle Cleaveland was able to hold the Senators to just a single goal in the second half.
The Bobcats advance their overall record to 4-2-1 and will return to the field at Wilmington (Del.) on Saturday starting at 1pm.
