Ramon Rodriguez came back to win his match in a super tie-breaker 12-10 to complete a 9-0 sweep for West Virginia Wesleyan against Davis and Elkins in a non-conference tennis match here Monday.
Rodriguez and D&E's Olbert Mulyadi split their first two sets by 6-2 scores, setting the stage for a back and forth battle in the tie-break. Mulyadi took several leads throughout, with Rodriguez fighting back to even the score three times.
Facing two match points at 7-9, Rodriguez won three straight to earn his first match point, which Mulyadi fought off with a sharp forehand return. Rodriguez then regained his composure and captured the next two points to earn the win.
The rest of the Bobcats won their matches in straight sets against a short-handed Senators squad that was playing their third ranked team in three days.

Harry Simaioforidis and
Yonas Gebre had singles wins for Wesleyan, as the Bobcats improved their spring record to 6-2.
Tuesday's home match against Salem University has been postponed due inclement weather, and will be moved to Friday at 3pm.
The Bobcats will host regional power Bluefield State here Saturday at 2pm in a battle of nationally ranked teams. The Big Blues have beaten the Bobcats 7 consecutive times, earned their first top 25 ranking this past week.
