Urbana, OH- West Virginia Wesleyan Men's Basketball hit the road on Thursday evening to Ohio to take on Urbana University. Urbana would take a four point lead into the break, but the Bobcats would roar back in the second half to pick up the victory.
Just five minutes into the second half, Wesleyan mounted a 17-6 run to take the lead 50-45. At the 11:17 mark, Urbana tied it up at 52. At the 7:12 mark Wesleyan would catch fire from beyond the arc.
Fred Brondsted would hit a three pointer, and on the following possesion
Daylin Lee would also knock down a three pointer to extend the Bobcat lead 63-56.
The Bobcats would go on to win 79-69, outscoring the Blue Knights by 14 in the second half. Wesleyan would have four players in double figures with Brondsted and Petrovic leading the way with 15 a piece. Brondsted would hit 4-three pointers in the game to give him 45 made threes for the season.
Wesleyan will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Notre Dame College.
