Buckhannon, WV-- The West Virginia Wesleyan College Women's Soccer tea m would take on Frostburg State University in a Conference match. The Lady Bobcats come into today's match with a 4-4 overall record and a 3-2 Conference record. The Frostburg State University Bobcats come into today with an overall 3-5-1 and a Conference record of 3-3.
The Lady Bobcats would strike the only goal in the first half of the match. In the 17th minute of the game,
Taylor Maucere would pick up her first goal of the year, assisted by
Lauren Baumgartner to put the Lady Bobcats up 1-0.
In the 55th minute of the match,
Shannon Shawgo would connect and pick up her second goal of the year.
Haelly Ramirez would pick up the assist but the Lady Bobcats wouldn't be done.
Madison LaPole would win a jump ball in the 62nd minute, she would strike it over the goalie, as the Lady Cats start to run away with the game.
Two minutes later in the game
Haelly Ramirez would pick up her sixth goal of the season as
Lauren Baumgartner would pick up her second goal of the day.
The Lady Bobcats would put up 17 shots in today's contest opposed to Frostburg's 8,
Chelsea Hubner would have 3 saves and the Lady Bobcats would go on to win 4-0.
