Buckhannon, WV-- The Lady Bobcats roll into today's match with a 4-10 overall record and a 2-2 conference record while the Davis & Elkins Senators come into the match up with a 9-5 record and a 3-1 record.
The Lady Bobcats would come out and take the lead early in the first set and keep the lead, taking it 25-19.
The Senators would start to heat up as the match went on they would go on to take set 2, 25-16.
The Lady Bobcats would be back and forth for the third match,
Emily Doyle(2) and
Joelle Lalla would contribute three kills in a row to tie the set up at 23 a piece. The Lady Bobcats would have two errors that would cost the set after the comeback, the Senators take the momentum and run away with set three.
The Senators would come out on fire and leave the Lady Bobcats way behind as they get a 15-1 lead which turned out to be the last set of the night. The Senators would roll over the Lady Bobcats 25-10 in the last set as the Lady Cats could not get anything started.
The Senators take the match over the Lady Bobcats (3-1).
Jenny Lundy would lead the team in kills(13),
Emily Doyle would lead the team in digs(16) and
Payton Hefner(20) would lead the team in assists.
The Lady Bobcats will be back in action next Tuesday against the Salem University Tigers for an away Non-Conference match starting at 7:00pm.
