Lincoln University, PA --Â West Virginia Wesleyan Women's Soccer took a road trip to Philadelphia on Wednesday, taking on East Coast Conference member Lincoln University. The two teams entered under different circumstances, the Lady Bobcats were coming off an exciting overtime win on Sunday, and Lincoln lost 8-0 to NYIT on Saturday. The match got out of hand quickly, and the Lady Bobcats were able to keep the pressure on throughout, winning 15-0.
It was a career day for many Lady Bobcats, including Senior F
Shannon Shawgo. She netted her first career hat trick on Wednesday, scoring two goals in a two minute span early in the first period. Fellow SeniorÂ
Haelly Ramirez, and Junior
Kayla Fay, each scored twice in the impressive victory. An incredible eight other Lady Bobcats were able to find the back of the net on Wednesday, which includes

Wesleyan gets to travel to West Liberty on Sunday to take on a struggling Lady Hilltoppers team. There are three regular season games remaining on the schedule, and the Lady Bobcats should be able to finish strong against the aforementioned Lady Hilltoppers, Wheeling, and Davis & Elkins. Wesleyan currently sits six points back of first-place Concord, but they should be able to lock up second place in the Mountain East Conference's South Division before the postseason arrives.
Lincoln travels to Western New York on Saturday to take on Daemen College.
