Tough Finish at AB for Men's Basketball

Bobcats Fail to Hold Lengthy Lead

Recap

West Virginia Wesleyan Men's Basketball was looking for their first win of the season on the road Wednesday against Alderson Broaddus. The Bobcats would lead for a majority of the game, but the Battlers would pull off the comeback and win 83-79. Wesleyan would hold multiple nine-point leads during the second half, however they became prone to fouls and turnovers. Alderson Broaddus played as clean of a second half as possible, only turning the ball over once and making sixteen of their twenty subsequent foul shots. On the other side, Wesleyan turned the ball over eight times, and only attempted one free throw in the entire second half. The Battlers made a 12-0 run over the course of two minutes in the middle of the second half, and they grabbed the lead for good with five minutes remaining.
