Recap
After a disappointing loss at Alderson Broaddus on Wednesday, West Virginia Wesleyan Men's Basketball had to turn back around and begin conference play at Frostburg State. Their performance on Saturday says a lot about this team, and the values that Coach Patella has instilled. Coming in 0-5, a different Bobcats team showed up against Frostburg, grabbing their first win of the season, 85-73. The hosts put on a full-court press for most of the game, and Wesleyan handled it through good pace and vision, often finding the opening into the paint. Frostburg was able to hang around for a considerable amount of the game, but Wesleyan led for most of it. This is the type of team performance that Coach Patella has been waiting for this season, and it serves as a great kickstart to the Mountain East Conference schedule.
