Charleston, WV -- The West Virginia Wesleyan men's tennis team opened the spring season Friday with singles and doubles play at the University of Charleston Invitational. UC and the Bobcats were joined by Bluefield College, West Liberty University, and West Virginia State University in the 5 team field.
Wesleyan will have 5 of their six doubles teams in the flight finals on Saturday morning, while 12 Bobcats remain alive into the singles semifinals. Doubles finals are scheduled for 9am, followed by the singles matches at 10:30am and continuing throughout the day.
The 11 Bobcat singles players still competing in the main draws are:

Pau Ferrando and Maycon Santos Dias (#2),
Harry Simaioforidis and
Carlos Dodero (#3), Alex Lyudinvoskiy, and
Anthony Rames (#4), Esteban Fernandez,
Thomas McIntosh, and

Sergio Garrido, and
Marko Golac (#6).
All matches are being played indoors at the Charleston Family YMCA.
