The Bobcats would fail to capitalize on any more runs in the inning as the game is now 2-1.

The Cavaliers would continue to pour on runs as the Bobcats were having a tough time trying to slow them down. They would put up 3 runs on just two hits as Roe would be losing some command on the mound.

In the top half of the 3rd, the Cavaliers would not be the only team to put up some runs as the Bobcats would put up 2. Greg Smith would crush a double into left field, later in the inning Eric Forbrick would continue to crush the ball as he would hit a 2 run blast to make it a 5-3 game. It wouldn't take long for the Cavaliers to put some runs together as they would tack on 2 runs on 3 hits in the bottom half of the 2nd.

Greg Smith would come up to bat in the 3rd inning as he would get things rolling for the Bobcats as he would double to left field bringing Alex Skinner up. Skinner would smoke an opposite field 2 run home run to take back the lead and the momentum as the Bobcats would be up 3-2.
