Carlos Dodero has been named Mountain East Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
Dodero, a sophomore from Spain, went 3-0 in singles last week to help the Bobcats wrap up an undefeated MEC regular season. He rolled to wins over Davis & Elkins and Concord, and then picked up WVWC's only win against Wingate at No. 2 singles against nationally ranked Matthew Jones. He, along with partner Maycon Santos Dias, is ranked No. 29 in the ITA poll in doubles.
