Davidson, NC-- The West Virginia Wesleyan College Football team would take on Davidson College for a Non-Conference game as they look to pick up their first win on the year.
The Wildcats would stick to what they know best as they would run the ball the entire game, only throwing the ball 9 times for 4 completions. The Wildcats would pick up 367 yards rushing and 36 yards in the air, as the Bobcats would only rush for 96 but throw for 154 yards.
Jarrett Northrop for the Bobcats would be 13 of 29, for 156 yards in the air as Davidson would be 4 of 9 for 36 yards.
Devin Taylor would snag 6 completions for 65 yards with a long of 20 yards.
On the defensive side of the ball
John Merica would pick up 16 total tackles (10 solos) and
Chris Parker would have 7 total tackles.
The Wildcats would take down the Bobcats 41-0 as they would pound the ball on the ground all night and the Bobcats would not be able to slow them down from scoring. The Bobcats would drop to an overall record of 0-2 looking to bounce back next week for another road game.
The Bobcats will be back in action this Saturday at the University of Charleston for a Conference game beginning at 12 pm.
