West Virginia Wesleyan Men's Basketball has an early must-win game on the schedule, hosting Concord on Wednesday night. The Mountain Lions are tied for last in the Mountain East Conference, but Wesleyan has not played well at home this season. The Bobcats seem to play well in the underdog role, but struggle when favored in a matchup. They will be heavy favorites to beat a 2-6 Concord team that has only one win away from Athens this season. Storylines

The Mountain East is a tough basketball conference with parity throughout the top of the standings, it is critical that Wesleyan wins this game at home to stay among that group. The Bobcats can no longer afford to lose to teams below them in the standings. Good teams win at home, and the Rockefeller Center must become a place that other MEC schools circle on the schedule as a tough game. In Saturday's exciting game with WVSU, Coach Nick Patella decided to go with his five guys for a majority of the game, with all starters playing over 30 minutes. That group plays very well on the floor together, and with help from the bench in the middle twenty minutes of the game, this team can go to another level.
