Recap
The Bobcats never make it easy. West Virginia Wesleyan Men's Basketball held a solid lead on Concord throughout the game on Wednesday night, often hovering between a six to ten point advantage. Something got into the Mountain Lions late into the second half, as they began to knock down their threes and force empty Wesleyan possessions. In the final minute, it looked as if Concord was going to escape with a win after they got the lead, however
Daylin Lee's three-pointer from the corner that rattled around the rim changed the game. Concord couldn't knock down both of the ensuing free throws, and left the Bobcats a chance down two with seven seconds remaining. Lee saw that he had space bringing it up the floor so he took a long three that missed well short, but
Clay Todd went rim hunting and scooped the shot and scored all in less than a second to beat the horn. The referees huddled, and proceeded to count the basket to the roar of the crowd in the Rockefeller Center. A few defensive stops and successful post-ups for
Dusan Vicentic, and the Bobcats grabbed their second home win of the season in overtime 83-80.
