Recap
Â
Undefeated on the road this season in the Mountain East Conference coming into Wednesday, West Virginia Wesleyan Men's Basketball did not put together the performance they would have liked to against Charleston. The Golden Eagles were sharp shooting the ball, and crisp taking care of it, while the Bobcats were neither. The final score was 102-77, and Charleston led throughout the contest. In an otherwise disappointing result, there was one memorable moment for the Bobcats. Senior Forward
Dusan Vicentic scored his 1000
th career point on a three-pointer with under a minute remaining in the first half. Vicentic is the second Bobcat to score his 1000
th point in the last two years, with
Fred Brondsted doing so a season ago. For the first time this season, Sophomore Forward
Anthony Garcia led the team in scoring with fourteen points.
