BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Following today's announcement by the Mountain East Conference, West Virginia Wesleyan men's basketball announced its schedule for the 2020-21 season. The schedule features 16 games against Mountain East Conference opponents.
The MEC will begin the winter sports season with no spectators. The league's Board of Directors will evaluate the policy no earlier than January 18, 2021. All games can be watched via live streaming.
Wesleyan will tip off the season at the Rockefeller Center on Thursday, January 7 at 7:30 p.m. as the Bobcats play host to Fairmont State. WVWC has a quick turnaround for its first road contest of the season at Frostburg State on Sunday, January 10.
The regular season is scheduled to conclude on Feb. 27 at home against Davis & Elkins and the MEC Tournament is slated to take place March 3-7 at WesBanco arena in Wheeling, W. Va.
MEC schedules are contingent upon the ability to conduct sport while adhering to state and local guidelines and COVID-19 surveillance testing at each member institution utilizing NCAA guidelines.
