On the second and final day of the opening trip to Tennessee, Wesleyan had the opportunity to face their old coach Marc Walters and Lincoln Memorial. Emotions were high, but the Bobcats did not let that affect their play, defeating the Railsplitters 5-2 for their first team victory of the young season. The doubles duos of Simaioforidis and Dodero Fernandez, and Laipold and
Thomas McIntosh, were strong for the second day in a row, both picking up victories. Laipold, Simaioforidis, and McIntosh also racked up wins in singles, and they were joined on Monday by
Alexander Lyudinovskiy. Laipold's singles victory clinched the win for the Bobcats. Despite the first loss, Coach
