Recap
That is the performance that this Bobcats team is capable of. They got hot early, and carried it into a 90-63 victory over the visitors from Notre Dame College. The Bobcats faithful witnessed a special game from
Luka Petrovic, who lead the team with twenty-three points and nine rebounds from the point guard spot. He also dished out six assists, and this was his second great game in a row after barely missing out on a triple-double on Saturday against West Liberty. Accompanying Luka was the familiar face of
Daylin Lee with sixteen points, and the return of quality shooting from
Clay Todd, who knocked down three of five from behind the arc. Coach
Nick Patella touched on the performance of the bench in his post game interview. That bench group included
Anthony Garcia, who set a career high with fifteen points in just twelve minutes, and
Ross Young, who is getting back into form after an ankle injury. The combination of play-making from Petrovic, shot-making from Lee and Todd, and energy creation from the bench was more than enough to lead wire to wire on Wednesday night.Â
