Recap
West Virginia Wesleyan Lacrosse opened their 2020 home schedule on Monday afternoon against IUP, but they did not get the result they were looking for, losing 21-2. A fourteen-goal first half opened up the game for the Crimson Hawks offensively, and they never looked back, controlling the possession for the entirety of the game. Their shots were crisp, and their offense predicated on back-cuts, movement, and passing was very effective against the Wesleyan defense. Victoria Kerkovich lead with five goals, and three other Hawks joined her with hat tricks, Katie Hibinger, Jenna Lund, Maura Columbus.
Victoria Sisson and
Madeline Gorzka were the goal-scorers for the Lady 'Cats.
