Jaylin Reed had another impressive second half to finish with a game-high 28 points and nine rebounds. Reed has scored at least 20 points in seven games this season.Â
Daylin Lee scored 18 points, ripped away eight boards and distributed five assists.
Ross Young scored 16 points and collected six rebounds.
Marvel McGowan added eight points off of the bench.Â

The Golden Eagles had five players score in double figures led by Isaiah Gable with 23 points. Gable also hauled in seven rebounds and dished out five assists.

Charleston shot 54.1 percent (33-for-61) from the field and made 12 shots from beyond the arc. The Golden Eagles held a 37-35 rebounding edge and finished 23-for-28 at the charity stripe.

Inside the First Half
UC jumped out to an early 10-2 lead with 17:40 left in the opening half. A trifecta by Reed at the 12:05 mark brought the Bobcats within one possession trailing 20-17. The Golden Eagles answered with a 7-0 run, but McGowan buried a corner 3-pointer (27-20) with 10:37 remaining.Â

Lee connected on a triple as Charleston led 36-32 with 5:39 to go in the first half. The Golden Eagles once again moved the margin to double-digits, but Wesleyan fought back to close out the opening half. Lee beat the buzzer on a layup after collecting his own rebound as WVWC trailed at halftime, 48-43.Â

Inside the Second Half
Jaret Mullooly netted a shot from long range with Charleston ahead 50-46 at the 18:36 mark of the second half. The Golden Eagles responded with another 7-0 run to lead 57-46 before Reed drained triple with 16:24 remaining.Â

UC began to pull nearly halfway through the second half on a Gable trifecta that put the visitors ahead by a 76-57 margin. The double-digit deficit faced Wesleyan for the rest of the contest. Â
