BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Faith Gandy was named Mountain East Conference Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Monday (March 15). 

The Washington, Pa., native picked up three wins at the season opener Brandi Bowen Invitational over the weekend. Gandy won the 100-meters (12.28), 200-meters (25.56) and was a member of the 4x400 relay that took first place in a time of 4:17.18.
