BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – West Virginia Wesleyan standout Samantha Cash has been selected as the MEC Female Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Cash, a versatile junior from Denton, Md., hit an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark in winning the Pentathlon event at the YSU Mid-Major Invitational with a score of 3,591 points. Her winning score currently ranks 15^th in NCAA D2 this winter.
