Taylor Papworth and
Harry Simaioforidis took down the Salem opposition in an impressive fashion, 6-2.
The doubles point came down to a fight to the finish after doubles No. 3
Anthony McIntosh and Haruki Iizuka dropped their match. The No. 2 pairing of
Camillo Salvi and Nadal Ferrer battled through five tiebreak points, but eventually dropped the match 7-6 to the Tigers.
In singles No. 4,
Camillo Salvi bounced back and overwhelmed Salem's Zachary Laplante winning in straight sets finishing at 6-2 in both.
His doubles partner Nadal Ferrer showed poise at No. 5 by finishing Victor Lopez, 6-2 and 6-3 to provide Wesleyan with its second point of the contest.
At singles No.1,
Harry Simaioforidis battled back in his second set after dropping the first 6-3 to take the second set 6-2. Simaioforidis eventually dropped the third set by a 6-0 decision.
