- Last time out, the Lady Bobcats picked up their first win of the season in a 2-0 decision over Davis & Elkins on Sunday (March 14).
- Captain Chrystal Posada fired in the opening goal from 25 yards out before junior Natalie Pireu added a second midway through the first half from the penalty spot in the win over Davis & Elkins.
- Martinsburg, W.Va., native Natalia Roppolo capped off a strong display on the left wing by drawing the penalty that Pireu later converted.
- Freshman keeper Ally Moore recorded her first collegiate clean sheet thanks to a solid performance from the back line which included Lauren Baumgartner, Jadyn Tavekelian, and Olivia Simmons. Moore was named Mountain East Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week.
- Freshman Ruby Dunmore made her debut for the Bobcats whilst juniors Casey Underwood and Ashlyn Ray got their first minutes of the season against D&E.
Scouting Notre Dame (Ohio)
The Falcons come into the match undefeated and with a 2-0-1 record. They've picked up victories against West Liberty and Wheeling, 1-0 and 2-0 respectively. NDC tied 0-0 with Fairmont State after double overtime.
Sophomore keeper Jordan Pasalaqua has yet to concede a goal and now has three clean sheets in 290 minutes of action. Katja Josipovic is the leading shot taker for the Falcons with seven and one of those has found the back of the net.
Mike Shiels is entering his 18
th season at the helm of the Falcons women's soccer program and boasts a record of 175-107-24.
Last Season vs. Notre Dame (Ohio)
Last season, the Bobcats travelled to South Euclid on October 13, 2019 and subsequently lost 2-0.
