SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio. -- The West Virginia Wesleyan lacrosse team (0-1) was defeated by Notre Dame (Ohio) (2-2), 23-3 on Wednesday (March 24) afternoon at Normandy Field in South Euclid, Ohio.

WVWC Leaders
Victoria Sisson scored two goals for the Bobcats.
Makenzi Lewellyn, a native of Buckhannon, W.Va., opened her account and scored her first collegiate goal. Mackenzie Cline chipped in with an assist.

Iris Kolenich led the 'Cats with two ground balls. Kolenich,
Karley Haggan,
Caelainn Morrison, and
Madysan Chisholm each caused a turnover.

Notre Dame (Ohio) Leaders
Amanda Paino led the Falcon offense and scored eight goals. Alicyn Loberg added five goals and eight ground balls. Kendal Johnson distributed two assists.

Loberg had a game-high two caused turnovers. Mackenzie Levine was the winning goalkeeper and made three saves.

Inside the First Half
Notre Dame scored the first two goals of the half. With 25:21 remaining in the first frame, Lewellyn scored an unassisted goal to cut the early deficit in half. NDC scored the next four goals to go up 6-1. With 18:52 remaining in the half, Sisson scored her first goal of the day unassisted. NDC would go on a 9-0 run to lead at the half 15-2.

Inside the Second Half
The Falcons scored the first eight goals of the half. With 2:08 left in the game, Sisson scored her second goal of the game with an assist from Cline. The Falcons won the game 23-3.
