BUCKHANNON, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Wesleyan lacrosse team (0-3) was defeated by Frostburg State (3-2), 24-3 on Wednesday (March 31) afternoon at Ross Field in Buckhannon, W.Va.

Iris Kolenich tallied two of the Bobcats' three goals.
Victoria Sisson added a goal to her stat sheet. Sisson has scored in all three games this season.

Frostburg State Leaders
Erin Bryce led FSU with four goals. Summer Cavey, Lilly Stephens and Stephanie King all scored three goals for Frostburg State. Cavey had a game high four assists and accumulated seven points.

Mackenzie Cramer led all players with five ground balls. Lindsay Kohlmann caused four turnovers. Whitney Crosby earned a win as the goalkeeper and recorded one save.

Inside the First Half
Frostburg State struck early on, scoring nine goals in the first 11 minutes of play. Kolenich scored her first goal of the day at the 17:21 mark to make the score 9-1. Frostburg State scored the next five goals and increased their lead to 14-1. Kolenich again scored at the 7:16 mark of the first half. FSU proceeded to score three more goals in the first frame and took a 17-2 lead at the break.

Inside the Second Half
FSU found the back of the net four more times within the first ten minutes of the second half and increased their lead to 21-2. Sisson scored her fifth goal of the season with 15:03 remaining in regulation. Frostburg added three more goals and were victorious 24-3.
