ELKINS, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Wesleyan lacrosse team (0-6) lost 18-1 at Davis & Elkins (4-2) on Sunday (April 11) afternoon in Elkins, W.Va.

WVWC Leaders
Victoria Sission scored the only goal for WVWC. Sisson also led the Bobcats with four shots on goal.
Sam Mise and
Gabrielle Cleaveland each scooped up two ground balls.
Makenzi Lewellyn led Wesleyan with two caused turnovers and three draw controls.

Davis & Elkins Leaders
Emily Smith led the Senator attack with five goals scored. Hannah Bond dished out three assists. Sarah Zapata led the Senators with four ground balls and two caused turnovers. Bond had a game-high seven draw controls. Goalkeeper Marissa Cuevas made seven saves and only allowed one goal in 60 minutes.

Inside the First Half
D&E wasted no time getting their offense going when Bond scored the first goal of the game with 29 seconds elapsed. The Senators scored the next eleven goals to pull ahead 12-0. The 'Cats got on the scoreboard when Sisson scored with 4:45 left in the first half. D&E scored two more goals to take a 14-1 cushion going into halftime.

Inside the Second Half
D&E scored four additional goals in the second half. The Senators' Griselle Rosado scored a shorthanded goal with 10:46 left in the half. Davis & Elkins won the game 18-1.
