The Basics
The West Virginia Wesleyan men's tennis program (1-3, 1-1 MEC) travels to West Virginia State on Wednesday (April 14) at 8 p.m. indoors at the Charleston Athletic Club before playing host to Davis & Elkins at 2 p.m. on Friday (April 16).

• Wesleyan is coming off a 4-3 loss to powerhouse Charleston on Friday (April 9) and the Bobcats claimed the doubles point against the Golden Eagles.
• Harry Simaioforidis, and Taylor Papworth were singles winners on Friday.
• The Bobcats were ranked #10 in the ITA Atlantic Regional rankings.
• Wesleyan upset regionally-ranked No. 4 Fairmont State, 4-3 on the road on Tuesday (April 6). The Bobcats swept doubles play and added straight-set wins at the top three singles lines to take down the Falcons.
• Before taking over as the head coach at West Virginia Wesleyan, Jay Evans was the head men's and women's tennis coach at Davis & Elkins for three seasons.

• The Yellow Jackets are currently 0-5.
• Austin Gessel and Nick Fraley lead the way for WVSU.
• The Yellow Jackets are led by head coach Ryan Pulliam.

• The Senators enter Friday's matchup with a 2-4 record including wins over Frostburg State and West Virginia State.
• Obert Mathew Mulyadi sits at the #1 singles spot and Alvaro Legoinha has had success in the #2 slot.
• Cameron Grant served as an assistant coach for one season at Davis & Elkins before taking over the helm this year.
