The West Virginia Wesleyan baseball team is set for its home opener in a doubleheader against Notre Dame (Ohio) on Saturday (April 3) before hosting Alderson Broaddus for another twinbill on Monday (April 5).

Scouting Notre Dame (Ohio)
Notre Dame (Ohio) is off to a 6-10 start after sweeping Concord in a doubleheader but falling to Glenville State in both games of a twinbill last weekend. 
 
Nick Farrell and Ben Ross have both cranked two home runs this season for the Falcons. 
 
Hayden Parker (1.66 ERA) and Austin Mora (33 strikeouts) have been the top two pitchers for NDC so far. 
 
Len Barker enters his 10th season as the Notre Dame (Ohio) head baseball coach.
 
Scouting Alderson Broaddus
Alderson Broaddus is 4-4 overall and takes a 4-game win streak into the weekend.
 
Lane Castro is batting 11-for-23 at the dish with one homer and nine RBI to pace the Battler offense so far. AB has used a variety of arms at this point. 
 
Former West Virginia Mountaineer standout Matt Yurish is in his fourth season as the Alderson Broaddus head coach.
