FROSTBURG, Md. -- The West Virginia Wesleyan lacrosse team (0-9) lost to Frostburg State (8-4) on Thursday (April 22) afternoon at Bobcat Stadium in Frostburg, Md.

Victoria Sisson scored an unassisted goal for WVWC. Goalie
Faith Hammerbeck led the team with four ground balls.
Makenzi Lewellyn and
Sam Mise each had two ground balls.
Kaitlynn Canby and
Iris Kolenich both secured three draw controls.

Frostburg State Leaders
Two FSU players recorded ten points in the game. Stephanie King scored eight goals and two assists while Cammie Schniedwind scored five goals and five assists. Schniedwind and goalkeeper Mckenna Shay each had four ground balls. Willow Walters caused three turnovers. Shay had four saves on five chances and was the winning goalie.

Inside the First Half
Frostburg State scored 18 unanswered goals. Sisson got Wesleyan on the board with an unassisted goal with 2:02 left in the first half. Frostburg took an 18-1 lead into the locker room.

Inside the Second Half
Frostburg's offensive success continued into the second half. Frostburg scored 11 goals in the last half. Wesleyan could not get the offense going and fell 29-1.
