BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- West Virginia Wesleyan senior Carlos Dodero Fernandez earned Mountain East Conference Player of the Week honors in back-to-back weeks, the league announced on Monday (April 26). 

Dodero Fernandez only lost six games in a 3-0 week at No. 1 singles against Davis & Elkins, Frostburg State and West Liberty. He also went 3-0 teaming up in his doubles matches.

The MEC men's tennis tournament is scheduled for May 1-2 in Charleston, W.Va.
