BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Faith Gandy of the West Virginia Wesleyan women's track & field team broke another school record on her way to another Mountain East Conference Athlete of the Week award, the league announced on Monday (April 26). She previously earned MEC women's track & field Athlete of the Week honors this season on March 15.

Gandy etched her name in the WVWC track & field record books again on Friday (April 25) when she broke the school record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.80 seconds.
 
Gandy and Caylee Painter were members of the women's 4x100 meter relay with Maggie Kovalcik and Lauren Leaman. The team cruised to a first-place finish in the event (47.76 seconds).

The MEC track & field championships are set for May 2-4 in Glenville, W.Va.
