LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – West Virginia Wesleyan sophomore pitcher Abigail O'Shields was selected to the D2CCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team, the Conference Commissioner's Association announced on Wednesday (May 19).

The southpaw went 14-6 overall in the circle with a 2.15 ERA and 17 complete games to her credit. She was named to the Mountain East Conference First Team for the 2021 season.

O'Shields struck out 94 batters and won MEC Co-Pitcher of the Week honors (May 3) after winning five games in just one week. The Dagsboro, Del., native spun a no-hitter in a five-inning, 9-0 victory over Glenville State on March 27.
