- Last week, the Bobcats defeated Alderson Broaddus on the road 2-0. Paloma Zamora and Ava Badallo both netted goals for Wesleyan. The 'Cats fell to Concord on Sunday (Oct. 9) after conceding four second-half goals.
- Badallo, a freshman from Bloomfield Hills, Mich., leads WVWC in points (six) and goals (three).Â
- Talia Stacy and Kameron Bonneau have each tallied two goals.

- Goalkeeper Ally Moore has started all 12 matches for WVWC and has made 64 saves, which is the eighth-highest save mark in the Mountain East Conference. Moore and the Bobcats' defense have kept three clean sheets this season.
- The Bobcats defeated Glenville State 4-0 in the last matchup. Bonneau scored twice, while Stacy and Badallo both chipped in a goal. UC knocked off WVWC 2-0 in Charleston earlier in the season.
Scouting Glenville State
Glenville State has dropped ten conference matches. Glenville fell to Davis & Elkins on Saturday (Oct 8) 4-2 Merel Smets has scored four goals on the season. Mackenzie Hendricks and Tori Cutright both have netted a pair of goals. Smets, a freshman from Olen, Belgium, has fired the most shots (17) and (10) shots on goal. Jasmine Runk and Morgan Smailes have both served as goalkeepers for the Pioneers. Runk has the most minutes at 589:54, while Smailes has snatched 50 saves this season. J.R. Dodson is the head coach of Glenville State women's soccer. Dodson was hired in July 2021 and led the Pioneers to a program-high in wins during his inaugural season.Â

Scouting Charleston
Charleston enters this week with a 6-4 conference record. Charleston fell to Norte Dame (Ohio) on Sunday (Oct. 9), 2-0. Sydney Cavender and Laura Vierhout are the top goal scorers for the Golden Eagles. Cavender leads Charleston with eight goals, while Vierhout has tallied four goals. Jordan Maynard, the goalkeeper for Charleston, has made 49 saves thus far. Todd Diuguid is the head coach of the women's soccer team. This is Diuguid's 22nd season as head coach of UC women's soccer.
